About The Position

Orlando Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join their Ambulatory Anesthesiology team. This role supports multiple multispecialty ambulatory surgery centers and involves collaboration with other anesthesiologists and advanced practice anesthesia providers. The position focuses on delivering safe, up-to-date care and contributing to the organization's mission and vision. The case mix includes GI, Bariatrics, Plastics, Adult & Pediatric ENT, Urology, Spine, Orthopedics, and more. The role is Monday-Friday with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Anesthesiology Residency program
• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
• Must hold, or be able to obtain, an active Florida medical license prior to start
• Not a J-1 sponsored position

Nice To Haves

• Private practice and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as a collaborative member of the anesthesiology department, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals
• Partner closely with surgeons and administration
• Evaluate and formulate the anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care
• Provide supervision/medical direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia
• Personally administer anesthesia intraoperatively, with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia as needed
