About The Position

LifeLinc Anesthesia is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Surgery and Laser Center at Professional Park in Clinton, South Carolina. This prn opportunity offers a predictable 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule, working Thursdays only, and no call, providing an excellent work–life balance in a high-quality outpatient setting. This role focuses on eye cases within a streamlined, efficient surgical environment. The Anesthesiologist will deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care while collaborating closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and facility leadership to ensure consistent, patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities

Function as a collaborator and team member to accomplish applicable goals and functions of LifeLinc.
Develop standards for continuity of care and case management.
Remain cognizant of rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and remain compliant at a local, state, and federal level.
Perform and timely and accurately document a pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.
Provide professional anesthesia services to patients in accordance with the standard of care and state and federal laws.
Manage a patient's airway.
Manage emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
Release or discharge patients from a post-anesthesia care area, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.
Respond to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.
Perform additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA.
Attend meetings as needed.
Work with peers to obtain required information on a timely basis and to solve outstanding issues, as appropriate.
Promote and contribute positively to the teamwork of the department by assisting coworkers, contributing ideas and problem-solving with co-workers.
