Anesthesiologist (MD/DO)

Inova is expanding its Anesthesia services at Inova Loudoun and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital locations and is seeking experienced, motivated, and world-class anesthesiologists to join their team. The anesthesiologists will be supported by and work in partnership with a robust CRNA team 24/7, in addition to nocturnist coverage with CRNA teams. Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesia.
- Successful completion of Anesthesia residency program.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start, ACLS, PALS (when appropriate)
- Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
- Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
Responsibilities
- Experience in all methods of anesthetic delivery including but not limited to intravenous/general, spinal, epidural, ultrasound guided regional anesthesia
- Experience in broad spectrum of clinical services- including but not limited to spine, joint replacement, minimally invasive surgery, maternal, endoscopic, diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate and coordinate with physicians, nurses, technicians and other healthcare providers in the assessment and management of patients throughout the peri-procedural encounter
- Must demonstrate good communication skills and an ability to work in team environment
- May perform other duties as assigned.
