About The Position

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care Southwest (AAC Southwest) is an ambulatory-only anesthesia practice offering anesthesiologists an opportunity to achieve work-life balance, focus on patient care, and join a team committed to clinical excellence and an unmatched culture. Founded in 2011, AAC Southwest is a compassionate group of anesthesia providers in Texas delivering high quality and efficient care to a growing list of ambulatory surgery centers, office-based anesthesia locations, and acute care surgical hospitals. AAC Southwest currently serves locations in DFW, Houston, El Paso, Corpus Christi, and Austin. They provide anesthesia services for specialties including Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental (Pediatric and Adult). The practice emphasizes no unpredictable schedules, overnight call, or the stress of hospital-based anesthesia coverage.

Requirements

  • ABA Board-Certified or Eligible (certification required within 7 years of completing residency)
  • Experience with supervising CRNAs
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced ambulatory environment, including office-based sites of service
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to several client sites (but rarely more than one per day)

Nice To Haves

  • Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia training preferred
