Northside Hospital is seeking to add an outstanding Anesthesiologist to their well-established team in the North Atlanta Suburbs. This is a true Generalist position with a wide variety of cases including a busy sports medicine practice, general surgery, trauma, Endo, urology, OBGYN, etc. Full-time positions are available with light call.

Requirements

MD / DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Active or ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
Works well in a team environment
Medical Degree from an accredited college or university.
Diploma for completion of an American Board of Internal Medicine accredited Internal Medicine internship and residency.
NBME or Flex certification.
American Board of Internal Medicine certification or eligibility.
Unrestricted DEA number.
Unrestricted Georgia medical license.
A doctoral degree is essential for an Anesthesiologist.
Successful completion of a four-year Anesthesiology residency program.
Pass an exam and be licensed to practice medicine in the state in which they work.
Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS) may be required.
Certifications in specialty areas such as palliative care, pediatric anesthesiology, dental anesthesiology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and critical care may be required as well.

Nice To Haves

Current BCLS/ACLS certification.
