About The Position
New Non-Call Float Opportunity at DMC Harper Hutzel University Hospital, an 800+ bed hospital known for its dynamic and diverse case mix. This role offers no call, no weekends, and no holidays, with increased compensation. You will join the faculty at Wayne State University, working alongside CRNAs and Residents. Cases include General, OB, endoscopy, orthopedic, radiology, cath lab, neurosurgery, and vascular procedures. The Detroit Medical Center has a long-standing legacy of providing medical excellence in the Metropolitan Detroit area.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
- DEA license
- Ability to work collaboratively with CRNAs and Residents
- Motivated provider with dedication to excel in the role

- Experience in a high-volume, diverse case mix environment
- Interest in academic medicine and teaching
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a variety of cases including General, OB, endoscopy, orthopedic, radiology, cath lab, neurosurgery, and vascular.
- Work collaboratively with CRNAs and Residents.
- Serve as faculty at Wayne State University.
- Float to different areas as needed within the hospital.
