About The Position

This role operates within an Anesthesia Care Team model with physician supervision of CRNAs. There are opportunities for leadership positions such as Chief, Medical Director, and Critical Care Section Head. The position also offers teaching and program development opportunities, including involvement with residency and fellowships. The practice covers over 40,000 cases across more than 40 anesthetizing locations in 5 facilities within a 30-minute radius. Subspecialty areas include Cardiac, Neuro, Transplant, and OB, with approximately 6,000 deliveries annually.

BLS certification

Experience in Cardiac, Neuro, Transplant, or OB anesthesia.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care within an Anesthesia Care Team model.
Supervise CRNAs.
Engage in leadership opportunities (Chief, Medical Director, Critical Care Section Head).
Participate in teaching and program development (residency, fellowships).
Perform general, cardiac, vascular, neuro, ortho, ENT, GI, GYN, plastics, and obstetrical anesthesia.
Provide NORA services.
Work across multiple facilities including Methodist University Hospital, Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown, Methodist North Hospital, Methodist South Hospital, and Methodist Olive Branch Hospital.
