About The Position

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a Locum Tenens position at a hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. This role involves clinical duties and on-call responsibilities, covering a period from September 14, 2026, to December 14, 2026. The Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases, including geriatric fractures, urology, general surgery, advanced breast cancer surgery, and total joint procedures. The position requires the administration of propofol infusions for endoscopy procedures and collaboration with CRNA support staff. The patient demographic includes all ages, with a daily patient volume of 4-8.

Requirements

• Arizona license or Universal License (IMLC)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• DEA Required
• BLS Certification
• Current OB anesthesia experience required

• Endoscopy under propofol infusion

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for OR cases, endoscopy, and OB deliveries during daytime and night call shifts.
• Manage a diverse case mix including geriatric fractures, urology, general surgery, advanced breast cancer surgery, and total joint procedures.
• Administer propofol infusions for endoscopy procedures.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage as scheduled.
• Collaborate with CRNA support staff to ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery.
