About The Position
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a highly respected Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry and comprehensive dental care in Fort Myers, FL. We are looking to hire an experienced, patient-centered Anesthesiologist to join a dedicated surgical team providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patients. This is a full-time position with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Requirements
- Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients.
- Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure.
- Current BLS and AHA PALS certification; PALS required within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- National Board Certification strongly preferred.
- Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitude.
- Patient-centered approach focused on safety, comfort, and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients.
- Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day.
- Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment.
