About The Position

BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants to join their anesthesia team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This role involves working in a collaborative, supportive environment with physicians and CRNAs, practicing medically supervised care with a broad, high-acuity case mix. The hospital is a 615-bed community hospital founded in 1934 and is a prominent medical center known for innovation and high-quality care. The position offers flexible scheduling with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and opportunities for professional development and growth within the BayCare Health System.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
NCCAA certification required.
Active Florida license or ability to obtain.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Practice medically supervised anesthesia care.
Work with a broad, high-acuity case mix including Trauma, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics (all ages), Vascular, EP, IR, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Thoracic, OMFS, Endoscopy, Urology, ENT.
Collaborate with physicians and CRNAs in a team-focused environment.
