Requirements

Associate degree in Anesthesia or Nursing from an accredited institution.
Current certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or CRNA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge in anesthesia techniques and monitoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Must be board-certified

Nice To Haves

Experience in ED support, consults, and post-op care.
Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EMR system.

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia care as directed by supervising anesthesiologists.
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare patients and plan anesthesia strategies.
Participate in patient assessments and pre-anesthesia evaluations.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia care provided.
Respond to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions.
Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and safety measures.
Stay informed on current anesthesia practices and advancements in the field.
