About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesia providers in a fast-paced, acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cardiac cases, invasive procedures, and anesthesia equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operating room support.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
- ASATT certification (Anesthesia Technologist) required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
- Strong experience with acute cardiac cases and invasive procedures
- Knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and equipment reprocessing
- Ability to pass pre-employment health screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Experience with central lines, arterial lines (A-line), and Swan-Ganz catheters
- Strong troubleshooting skills for anesthesia equipment
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and anesthesia equipment for procedures
- Assist anesthesia providers during surgical and invasive procedures
- Support placement of arterial lines, central venous catheters (CVC), and thermodilution catheters
- Perform room turnover and ensure readiness for subsequent cases
- Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to aseptic techniques
- Handle, clean, and reprocess anesthesia equipment per infection control standards
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and restock anesthesia work areas
- Provide support across all areas where anesthesia services are delivered
