About The Position

The Anesthesia Technician is a key member of the anesthesia care team, responsible for assisting anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and other medical personnel in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. This role ensures that anesthesia equipment is properly maintained and set up and assists in monitoring patients during procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.

Requirements

• Certificate or associate’s degree in anesthesia technology or a related healthcare field.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and procedures.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly.
• Ability to lift and move anesthesia equipment or patients as needed.
• Manual dexterity to handle small instruments and perform detailed tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as an Anesthesia Technician (e.g., from the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians, ASATT).
• Prior experience in a surgical or anesthesia setting.
