Anesthesia Technicians support anesthesiologists, anesthesiologist assistants, nurses and other members of anesthesia care teams. Anesthesia technicians clean, sterilize, test, calibrate and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment, as well as keeping records of equipment inspections. Provides anesthesia technician services to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia care provider designated by the client facility, in accordance with state regulations. Population served based on scope of services in the department. Cleans, sterilizes, disinfects, orders, stocks and maintains routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
