About The Position

The Anesthesia Technician coordinates and manages activities related to the anesthesia department and maintains anesthesia machines and equipment. The role prepares operating rooms in surgical and obstetric suites by setting up required anesthesia and physiologic monitoring equipment. After procedures, the technician removes and cleans equipment and restocks anesthesia supplies for subsequent use.

This is a full-time position at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital, with hours from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Providence describes its culture as focused on patient-centered, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

Requirements

• Education sufficient to meet the applicable certification, license, or registration requirement.
• National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire, or experience and knowledge of operating room equipment.

• Prior work as an anesthesia technician.
• Completion of certification from a Certified Anesthesia program.
