About The Position
Assists anesthesia personnel with the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment utilized during peri-operative procedures. This position offers a sign on bonus to all eligible new hires!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Emergency/Medical or related experience
- Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Nice To Haves
- ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.)
Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to anesthesia personnel during the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment.
- Ensures that all anesthetizing locations are in a state of readiness.
- Maintain proper standards of cleanliness and organization of the Anesthesia workroom.
- Manages equipment, supplies, and medication according to established guidelines to maintain safe, efficient, and cost effective programs.
- Participates in hospital, division, and department activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
