Anesthesia Technician
About The Position
Anesthesia Tech Working under the supervision of anesthesiologists or registered nurses, prepares and maintains anesthesia equipment, maintaining and stocking of all anesthesia supplies. Set up and maintain anesthesia equipment according to ASC standards. Prepare, check, and setup anesthesia equipment prior to use. Ensure proper functioning of anesthesia machines and related devices. Clean, sterilize, and disinfect anesthesia instruments and equipment. Assists with moving and positioning of patients. Assists registered nurses as needed. Turn over OR rooms at the end of each case by cleaning rooms, sterilizing operating and anesthesia area.
