About The Position

Anesthesia Technician - Full Time, Days. This role provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care. The Anesthesia Tech will assist anesthesia staff with room and equipment preparation, protect patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment, and understanding equipment function. This role also maintains supply, equipment, and pharmacy inventory to optimize the delivery of anesthesia services, and maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom. Daily computer support and equipment troubleshooting are also key responsibilities, including supporting the Anesthesiologist in Optime. The Anesthesia Tech will also assist in meeting departmental/hospital KPI’s related to patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, financial performances, organizational effectiveness, and community health care.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

Nice To Haves

Relevant experience or training program preferred
1 year of previous anesthesia tech experience preferred
