About The Position

Adjunct full time position to assist anesthesia department in day to day maintenance of stock and equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assists anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) by setting up equipment and preparing stock items for cases. Orders, stocks, and maintains anesthesia supplies, and equipment. Washes and sterilizes re-usable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel. Performs safety checks on anesthesia equipment and assists anesthesia personnel as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CPR required
• 2 years experience in Operating Room or Anesthesia Dept required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of Inventory processes.
