About The Position

Under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia professional or Anesthesia Technologist: assists the anesthesiologist and/or anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. Adheres to Universal Precautions in all clinical areas. Provides support to routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparations and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia.

Requirements

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
• Basic Life Support.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician preferred.
• Experience as an EMT paramedic desired.
• Knowledge in ACLS desirable.
• Knowledge in PALS desirable for BHM, HH, MASC.
