Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- 3 years experience as an Anesthesia Tech Or Anesthesia Tech Certification Required
- Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association BLS Certification Required
Nice To Haves
- Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists anesthesia providers and other health care members in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure.
- Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services.
- Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.
