About The Position

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire an Anesthesia Supervisor to join our team! Under the direction of the Senior Manager and Manager of Anesthesia Services, the supervisor will facilitate the successful functioning of the anesthesia department through communication, working knowledge of departmental and hospital policy, and rapport with nurse anesthesia (CRNA) staff, medical staff, anesthesia technicians and ancillary departments. Performs other duties as assigned by leaders. This supervisor position will be approximately 0.5 FTE clinical and 0.5 FTE non-clinical based.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related field
  • Completion of Nurse Anesthesia Program
  • Masters degree in Anesthesia or related field
  • Five years experience as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • APRN currently licensed in the state of Minnesota
  • CRNA currently certified by the NBCRNA
  • Privileged as a CRNA by the PNHS Credential Committee
  • ACLS certified
  • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of principles of management and the change process
  • Ability to assess caregiver competence in the clinical setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Epic, PICIS, Outlook, Teams

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory/Management/Leadership experience preferred.
