About The Position

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking an Android OS Engineer with expanded responsibilities including SCRUM Master duties and ServiceNow application development to join their Supply Chain Technology team. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow technical skills across multiple disciplines while contributing to the advancement of supply chain operations. The position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week in Columbia, Maryland, with no relocation offered. The role involves developing, maintaining, and updating Android applications for asset inventory, warehouse transactions, and asset deployment, providing critical support and innovation for supply chain technology solutions, and delivering software increments in short iterative cycles using agile development methodology. Additionally, the role will leverage ServiceNow skills for FedRamp design, compliance, and application development, manage workload effectively, and commit to continuous learning in Android OS, Agile development, and ServiceNow application development. Collaboration with the team to understand supply chain operations and identify technology-driven improvements is key. Participation in security clearance renewal processes is also required.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of applicable experience and a high school diploma.
  • Proven experience as an Android OS Engineer or similar role.
  • Android Data Handling & Syncing.
  • Skilled in optimizing data retrieval and caching to enhance mobile app performance.
  • Familiarity with Agile development workflows and frameworks.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Clearable - with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow platform and application development is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update multiple robust android applications for asset inventory, warehouse transactions, and asset deployment.
  • Provide critical support and innovation for supply chain technology solutions.
  • Deliver software increments in short iterative cycles using the agile development methodology.
  • Spearhead the release strategy for major releases, minor enhancements, and defect fixes.
  • Streamline code and resource usage to minimize load times and maximize responsiveness.
  • Mitigate deployment risks by creating detailed release plans, runbooks, and rollback procedures.
  • Leverage ServiceNow skills to contribute to FedRamp design, compliance, and application development efforts.
  • Manage workload effectively through strong time management and prioritization skills, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Commit to continuous learning and professional growth across the three core disciplines: Android OS, Agile development, and ServiceNow application development.
  • Collaborate with the team to gain in-depth understanding of supply chain operations and identify opportunities to add value through technology solutions.
  • Participate in security clearance renewal processes as required to support ongoing project and compliance needs.
