About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile applications and a strong understanding of the Android platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that enhance user experience. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
• Experience building high-performance, dynamic UI with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Coroutines, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Proven experience in API development and integration, preferably with RESTful and SOAP APIs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Android development, including continuous integration, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and creating automated UI tests.
• Experience with continuous integration.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience developing software within a regulated environment in the medical industry.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations and standards relevant to medical devices.
• Effective communicator and team player, with excellent organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that enhance user experience.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Build new functionality in the Jetpack Compose codebase and occasionally in the views (Android platform) codebase.
• Work and iterate on API design with input from the team & community.
• Develop and maintain Android applications using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.
• Translating product requirements into suitable user interfaces.
• Contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation, and support of custom UI components.
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
