About The Position
The Anatomic Pathology Lab Assistant (APA) assists the pathologist in the day to day technical operation of the pathology department.
Requirements
- AA Certificate or Degree or college courses in health science or related
- Pathology specimen processing including frozen sections is required.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately without constant supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate and understand information with our customers
- Organizational skills
- Problem solving skills
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 years previous experience in a hospital environment desirable.
