About The Position

Allied Digestive Health is seeking an experienced Lab Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume Gastroenterology (GI) laboratory. This role is critical to ensuring efficient clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient and provider experience. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with operational expertise, data-driven decision-making skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Share Point. We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full time, Anatomic Pathology/Histology Lab Manager at ADH Pathology in West Long Branch, NJ. This is a salaried role and comes with a 10% yearly bonus.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Laboratory Science, Biology, Life Science or related field.
2+ years of experience in a high-volume Lab
Proven experience managing staff and operations in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SharePoint and Power BI preferred

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of a high-volume GI laboratory, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal room utilization
Lead, train, and supervise laboratory and support staff; manage schedules, coverage, and performance
Partner closely with physicians, nursing, anesthesia, pathology, and administrative teams
Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and Allied Digestive Health policies
Prepare and Pass regulatory inspection by CAP and CLIA.
Monitor quality metrics, productivity, and operational performance
Use SharePoint, Power BI and/or Excel to track volumes, staffing, and performance data; prepare reports and presentations.
Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives
Support budget management, inventory control, and vendor coordination
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care
