About The Position

The Analyzer Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of process analyzer systems and associated sampling equipment throughout the chemical manufacturing facility. This position ensures analyzer reliability and accuracy to support safe operations, product quality, environmental compliance, and process optimization while executing work in accordance with company procedures, work processes, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Analyzer Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years of experience maintaining analytical instrumentation in a chemical, petrochemical, refining, or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, procedures, electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and analyzer documentation.
  • Knowledge of analyzer systems, applications, and measurement principles.
  • Experience working within a team-based maintenance environment with minimal supervision.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • English language proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chemical manufacturing operations.
  • Experience utilizing SAP or equivalent computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with HSE permitting policies and procedures within an industrial environment.
  • Experience supporting environmental compliance analyzers and emissions monitoring systems.
  • Working knowledge of process control instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process analyzer systems and associated sampling systems.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on process analyzers and supporting equipment.
  • Maintain analyzer reliability and accuracy to support operational performance, product quality, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Participate in root cause investigations, equipment condition assessments, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve analyzer reliability and performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration documentation, and work order history within SAP or other approved maintenance systems.
  • Communicate equipment status, maintenance activities, and operational concerns with Production, Maintenance, Technical Services, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Support analyzer project work, equipment upgrades, and commissioning activities as assigned.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, environmental requirements, and safe work practices.
  • Participate in safety observations, pre-job planning, hazard assessments, and incident investigations as required.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable company standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
