About The Position

The Analytics Solutions role involves analyzing, evaluating, and designing Data and Analytics products and solutions. This position will assist with product development to solve data-centric problems and drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot projects. The goal is to demonstrate the conversion of legacy data into modern data formats to support data modernization within a Data Mesh paradigm. The role will provide guidance and consulting to various product and data teams on Data Modernization efforts, including legacy data identification, target state design, and best practices. Responsibilities include defining strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data modernization projects, and developing execution plans and roadmaps. The role will also help evaluate and validate modernized datasets, track data migration to the cloud, and report on progress. Additionally, the position requires structuring and scoping complex problems and applying a range of analytical tools to develop solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Technology Management, Computer Information Systems, or in a related field of study
• Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions, Application Architect, or related occupation.
• Architecting and building high-performance data pipelines using AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, Glue, and Redshift
• Writing Python code to transform and load datasets on the multiple petabyte scale
• Designing and building ML features and ML pipelines
• Designing and implementing robust data streaming solutions using Kafka to ensure low-latency, high-throughput and fault tolerant event-driven architectures
• Experience with open data formats such as JSON-LD, Graphs or RDF triples
• Experience with Data and Analytics concepts including Data Lake, Data Mart, Vocabularies, Ontologies, Linked Data, Data Streaming, and ETL
• Utilizing artificial intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to build vocabulary recommendation engines and query generation systems for financial data
• Experience with Databricks and data/centric AI principles such as Feature and ML lifecycle.
