About The Position
The Analytics, Information, and Operations Academic Area at the KU School of Business is hiring for student hourly positions. These positions may involve teaching, grading, and/or researching assistance for School of Business courses. Student employees will maintain and manifest positive actions that align with and support the Code of Conduct for the School of Business.
Requirements
- Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Current KU Business student.
- Current Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Supply Chain student.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours.
- For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.
- Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students.
- A student employee cannot hold an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA) concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Grading assignments, quizzes, exams & provide feedback
- Office hours to meet, help, and work with students
- Class material preparation and in-class assistance
- Other duties as assigned
