About The Position

Regal is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in managing and utilizing the massive dataset generated by Regal's Voice AI agents, which power millions of daily customer interactions. The Analytics Engineer will not only report on this data but also influence its application to drive business decisions, improve AI agent performance, and enhance customer experiences. The position involves analyzing interactions between human agents and the product to optimize workflows and inform new feature development. This role is at the intersection of data, product, and AI, contributing to the development of intelligent systems and scalable customer experiences.

Requirements

3+ years experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst or management consultant
Fluent writing SQL and using dbt
Experience with any modern warehouse; ClickHouse/Snowflake are preferred
Comfortable working with Looker or a comparable dashboarding tool
Passionate about data access and empowering others to make decisions with data
Excited to work alongside AI tools - not just using them, but improving their outputs by rigorously reviewing, refining, and iterating on AI-generated code and analyses
Enthusiastic about the fast-paced work environment of an early-stage startup
Excellent communication skills and ability to tell a story with data

Responsibilities

Conduct deep dive analysis and develop internal reports and dashboards to inform key product and business decisions
Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Product Specialists to provide data-driven insights that inform how AI agents are built, tuned, and evaluated for individual customers
Inform how key metrics should be calculated and presented in the Regal app
Use AI coding agents to accelerate analysis and data discovery
Create and maintain documentation of business metrics and the data model
