We're seeking an Analytics Engineer, Marketing & Growth to help unlock its full potential by building the data products, pipelines, and activation systems that power customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. This is an opportunity to sit at the intersection of data, marketing, customer experience, and business strategy while directly influencing how Vacatia acquires, engages, and retains customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, analytics, or a related field
  • Advanced SQL expertise with the ability to work confidently across large and complex datasets
  • Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and transformation tools such as dbt
  • Deep understanding of data modeling principles and experience building production-grade analytics solutions
  • Experience working within collaborative engineering environments utilizing code reviews, pull requests, and shared development standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for automation, scalability, and operational excellence
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders
  • A business-first mindset that prioritizes stakeholder outcomes and measurable impact
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for incorporating AI and emerging technologies into day-to-day work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting marketing, growth, CRM, or customer lifecycle initiatives through data and analytics
  • Experience with audience activation or reverse ETL platforms such as Hightouch or similar technologies
  • Experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or comparable customer engagement platforms
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Sigma, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with customer identity resolution, customer data platforms, consent management, or customer profile initiatives
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, subscription, or customer-centric industries
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as PostHog or similar solutions
  • Exposure to customer acquisition, marketing attribution, campaign measurement, and growth analytics

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain marketing data pipelines that transform raw data into trusted, actionable business insights
  • Develop scalable data models within Snowflake and dbt that support marketing, customer, and growth initiatives
  • Build and manage audience activation workflows that deliver customer segments and attributes into Salesforce, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Own marketing data delivery through to end-user platforms, ensuring audiences, attributes, and campaign data are accurate and reliable
  • Create dashboards, datasets, and self-service reporting tools that enable marketing and growth teams to independently answer business questions
  • Partner with Growth teams to optimize rental demand generation, campaign effectiveness, direct booking performance, and channel strategy
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and compliance of customer data used across marketing programs and customer communications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable data solutions
  • Continuously improve automation, reliability, and operational efficiency across marketing data workflows
