Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business intelligence, data analytics, computer science or related field
  • 6 months to 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and basic SQL
  • Ability to follow established analytical processes with guidance
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, techniques, and business domains

Nice To Haves

  • Python, R or other data programming experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Meet with business and/or leadership to discuss reporting needs, recommending layout, structure and KPIs worth monitoring.
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations (including reports, dashboards, and ad hoc extracts) through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices, gathering, and entering missing data and resolving any anomalies.
  • Update existing reports with additional requirements as requested by business and/or leadership.
  • Ensure Power BI reports are successfully connected to gateways and scheduled to refresh on time. Additionally, troubleshoot any reporting errors (i.e. data inaccuracies) or report refresh errors.
  • Assist in other team’s projects involving predictive modelling and 3rd party data solutions as needed.
