About The Position

KeyBank’s Enterprise Analyst Program is a multi-week training program designed to facilitate the transition from college to a full-time career. It offers opportunities to learn about Key’s business, industry-leading employee benefits, engage in networking events, hear from the Executive Leadership Team, and receive relevant training. Upon completion, Analysts join their Line of Business, potentially starting a rotational program or their full-time role. Continued development is supported through mentorship. The Analytics & Quantitative Modeling Internship Program specifically aims to develop analytical and quantitative professionals through training, work experiences, and cross-functional exposure. This Rotational Analyst Program begins in the Summer of 2024, is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and includes 12 months of rotations, each lasting six months. Successful completion with meeting performance expectations leads to full-time roles in Analytics & Quantitative Modeling. This position requires onsite presence in Cleveland for the entire program.

Requirements

  • Must obtain a four-year degree or graduate level degree by May 2027 or December 2026 with focused coursework in mathematics, statistics, engineering, finance, economics, computer science, business analytics, data science, or other quantitative fields of study.
  • Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.5 GPA)
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning approaches, and/or data mining concepts
  • Basic understanding of AI concepts and exposure to AI/ML tools or techniques (e.g., data analysis or simple models)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship experience preferred within the field
  • Preferred exposure to programming for data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization (SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, and others as appropriate)

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform data analysis, research, and draw business and financial insights through analysis with integrity and accuracy
  • Effectively and concisely communicate findings and recommendations for senior management, including effective data visualizations and insights.
  • Aptitude for problem solving using analytical and mathematical techniques across a broad spectrum of business and risk management areas
  • Conduct and leverage market and industry research for peer analytics and strategy.
  • Develop and support reporting functions for financial, regulatory, and business intelligence requirements.
