About The Position

You will turn category and sales data into compelling sales stories that change what Walmart puts on the shelf. You will build the presentations, reports, and dashboards that carry those insights internally and to Walmart. The role calls for a strong analytical mindset and the ability to make complex data clear and persuasive. You will thrive here if you like a fast-paced, data-driven environment and want your analysis to move the business for both Tyson Foods and Walmart. Monitoring the market is core to the job. You will track shifts in consumer behavior, competitor activity, and category dynamics, spot emerging trends early, and turn what you find into recommendations the team can act on.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Marketing Research, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build a clear, persuasive PowerPoint deck
  • Comfortable presenting findings, in writing and in person, to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to translate consumer insights into recommendations that drive business results
  • Working knowledge of syndicated retail measurement data and consumer panels

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience with a branded consumer-goods company, or a combination of supplier-side and manufacturer-side experience, preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Circana, Scintilla, or NielsenIQ experience preferred; familiarity with Claude, Copilot, or other AI tools a plus
  • Experience with marketplace data outside of CPG is valued

Responsibilities

  • Present data-driven insights and business recommendations clearly and persuasively, to Tyson leadership and to Walmart merchants.
  • Investigate Walmart’s business metrics, including sales trends, new item performance, shopper behavior, and competitive benchmarking, using syndicated data.
  • Produce and publish daily, weekly, and quarterly reports for team leaders and customers, plus ad hoc analysis on short turnaround.
  • Grow into the team’s go-to resource for Walmart Scintilla, using it to surface insights that benefit both Walmart and Tyson Foods.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to break down complex business questions and drive them to an answer.
