About The Position

Join Rigaku in shaping a better world through new perspectives! This role involves servicing and maintaining customer Analytical X-ray Equipment and associated devices, troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical problems, and installing system software. You will also provide customer training, complete installations, and submit regular reports on service work and expenses. The position requires the ability to work in a clean room environment and may involve international travel for training.

Requirements

Associate degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent training minimum)
Valid Driver’s License
Valid Passport
Ability to obtain security clearance to customers and governmental facilities required.
Must be able to meet minimum qualifications to apply.
Applicants must be able to prove they can legally work in the US

Nice To Haves

Previous Service Experience would be highly desired.
Previous Thin Film and Metrology experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Service and maintain customer Analytical X-ray Equipment and associated devices.
Troubleshoot and repair Electronic and Mechanical problems of Analytical X-ray Equipment.
Install and modify system software as needed for equipment applications.
Provide customer phone assistance for preliminary troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Perform customer training on the alignment and use of their Analytical Systems.
Complete installations of X-ray Generators, Optics, Detections Devices and troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of same.
Complete and submit a weekly report to the service manager regarding customer problems.
Complete and submit Service Reports using Rigaku service database on all service work performed.
Maintain and update Customer Profiles as changes occur to customer equipment.
Complete and submit weekly expense reports to the service manager.
