About The Position

This specific internship is for an Analytical Lab Intern at the Piscataway, NJ office, running from June 1st, 2026, through August 14, 2026. The role involves joining the Analytical Lab team to enhance skills and contribute to projects with business-wide visibility.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or Chemistry discipline, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
Responsibilities
- Using standard operating procedures, run oils & fine fragrances on GC/MS
- Perform extractions on finished products to identify a fragrance’s composition. Prepare output for perfumer review.
- Change gas tanks as needed to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
- Maintain basic operation on GC/MS, including routine trouble-shooting. Be familiar with machines to be able to diagnose bigger issues and surface to managers.
- Update mass spectral library on GC with new materials from vendors.
- Labels samples appropriately and documents testing appropriately.
