As an Analytical Instrumentation Support, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation by supporting all Quality Control processes regarding Statistical Quality Control (SQC), instrument verification, validation, and Out of Specification (OOS) from QC perspective, including but not limited to all Standard Work Process (SWP), Management System, and analytical responsibilities. This opportunity provides analytical guidance, aid, and support to Quality Control Lab to achieve data and instrument reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in chemistry or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience commensurate with technology within the plant’s lab.
  • Experience in instrumentation troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Technical evaluation of QC Lab processes with respect to method and instrument validation and reliability.
  • Review and analyze SQC data with a focus on instrument and technician performance and implement mitigating actions when appropriate.
  • Primary person responsible for instrument manuals, calibration protocols and preventative maintenance plans.
  • Provide recommendations to technicians to decrease analytical variation and enhance reliability.
  • Participate in multifunctional project teams.
  • Qualify new analytical techniques.
  • Lead analytical test method implementation, verification, and validation.
  • Champion new methods for improving QC Lab performance.
  • Work on-site in a manufacturing and laboratory environment, utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Corporate functions.
  • Lead quality initiatives in a fast-paced production setting with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and plant-wide initiatives.
  • Operate within strict safety, regulatory, and quality compliance standards.
