About The Position

Use analytical skills and data science to support public health. Work closely with customers to understand their questions and needs, analyze data-rich environments, and select appropriate tools and frameworks to turn disparate data into objective answers. Help clients understand their data and use it to make informed decisions. The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Requirements

• Experience performing data manipulation, cleaning, analysis, or visualization in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with program documentation.
• Experience with data visualization applications such as Tableau, Power BI, or Palantir Foundry Workshop.
• Ability to develop standard operating procedures, analytic reports, or manuscripts submitted for publication.
• Ability to independently analyze, interpret, and communicate complex, large datasets clearly and concisely.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Life Science.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing data integrity for large-scale datasets.
• Experience working in mixed-discipline teams.
• Experience with geospatial data and data visualizations.
• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Life Science.
