  • PhD or MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant biotechnology or analytical chemistry industrial experience with a PhD, or at least 5 years with an MS.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing QC strategies from raw materials to finished products.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience applying analytical chemistry and/or molecular biology techniques, including relevant methods for characterizing oligonucleotides, proteins, enzymes, antibodies, small molecules, and complex biological mixtures, as well as PCR and qPCR.
  • Demonstrated success developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting analytical chemistry assays.
  • Experience developing and implementing novel QC assays to assess performance using functional and orthogonal assays.
  • Demonstrated ability to document and transfer complex analytical assays into manufacturing and quality control environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical parts of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and clearly communicate scientific results and recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience developing or working with single cell and/or spatial biology products.
