About The Position

As an Analytical Chemist in Florham Park/Morristown, New Jersey, you will play a critical role in advancing innovation and supporting business success through analytical expertise. As part of our Analytical Chemistry team, you will partner closely with R&D, Tenchnical Service Manufacturing, Quality, and cross-functional stakeholders to generate reliable data, solve complex challenges, and help bring high-quality products to market. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant analytical laboratory experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, wet chemistry, and modern analytical techniques.
  • Knowledge of analytical development practices, laboratory operations, and statistical methods.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams while showing initiative, adaptability, and a proactive mindset aligned with Arxada’s values of collaboration, grit, and driving results.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical testing on R&D, production, and customer samples using chromatographic, spectroscopic, wet chemistry, and other analytical techniques.
  • Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods for new and existing products and raw materials.
  • Deliver accurate, reliable, and timely analytical results while maintaining thorough documentation and data integrity.
  • Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and customer-facing analytical information.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support product development and troubleshoot manufacturing or customer challenges.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Continuously expand technical knowledge and support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
