About The Position

This position is contingent upon award of contract SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Analytic Facilitator (Russian) to support our customer in McDill AFB, Florida. The role involves performing consecutive interpretation and translation duties, providing document translation summaries, debriefing reports, document reviews, briefings, and recommendations related to Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and South Asian customs, courtesies, and religions for USCENTCOM J2 intelligence affiliation seminars and exchanges with partners. Additionally, the position requires developing, preparing, and presenting lesson plans, study courseware, practical application exercises, and After Action Reviews (AARs) on military intelligence related subjects for engagements, exchanges, and affiliation seminars with USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) partner nations, with interpreter support as necessary.

Requirements

  • Active In Scope TS/SCI clearance.
  • 2+/2+/2+ Russian Language abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of USCENTCOM regional customs/courtesies.
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. protocol.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Exceptional briefing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Perform consecutive interpretation and translation duties (to and from target language).
  • Provide document translation summaries, debriefing reports, document reviews, briefings, recommendations, and other services regarding Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and South Asian customs, courtesies, and religions for USCENTCOM J2 intelligence affiliation seminars and exchanges with partners.
  • Develop, prepare, and present with interpreter support as necessary: lesson plans, study courseware, practical application exercises, and AARs on military intelligence related subjects for engagements, exchanges, and affiliation seminars with USCENTCOM AOR partner nations.
