The Montreal, Quebec, Canada location is seeking skilled individuals for the position of Senior Financial Analyst. This is a permanent, full-time role. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Costs and Financial Information, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, data analysis, and strategic decision-making through the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and relevant reports. In collaboration with internal teams, you will ensure compliance, identify risks, and conduct financial analyses to support the organization's overall performance.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both official languages.
  • Rigor and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Results-oriented and strong team spirit.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting (CPA an asset).
  • Three to five years of experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Very good practical knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL (pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Bilingual English (required for interacting with clients, partners, and US subsidiaries, both orally and in writing).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Perform comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analyses. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders. Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and operations.
