About The Position

This role involves following the established methodology and practices of the Régie, including the 'Guide Vert' from Macroscope MD. The Senior Organic Analyst will actively participate in agile methodology activities such as reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and iteration planning. They will propose, develop, and design organic solutions for various projects, informing organic architecture advisors of potential impacts on current operations. The analyst will act as an expert consultant for DGSA and VPTI stakeholders, providing specialized and strategic support. They will design organic solutions compliant with the Régie's development standards and ensure optimal developer ergonomics through technical workshops, appropriate tools, and continuous improvement of the development environment. The role includes disseminating best development practices, maintaining a developer-focused website, and analyzing/resolving complex problems, incidents, and alerts within the organic or technical environment. Proactive organic and technical support, occasional code quality assurance, and conducting proofs of concept for complex organic solutions are also key responsibilities. The analyst will approve requests related to security, magnetic space, and other compliance aspects. A significant part of the role involves technological watch, support, monitoring, and training for various technologies like Microsoft .NET, TFS, BizTalk, Oracle, and development standards. They will act as a specialist in development tools, organic standards, security models, and development standards used at the Régie, and suggest/evaluate technological product acquisitions. Any other activity required for the project is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology requiring at least three (3) years of university study (or comparative evaluation from MIFI for foreign diplomas), otherwise possess three (3) additional years of experience.
  • Possess eight (8) years of experience in information technology.
  • Possess eight (8) years of experience as an organic analyst in development, maintenance, and system evolution, including three (3) years within the last five (5) years.
  • Have accumulated 1,000 person-days within the last six (6) years in the field of system maintenance, evolution, and development in a technological and organizational environment comparable to the Régie's.
  • Possess five (5) years of experience as an organic analyst, including the use of the N-Tier Web workshop or Microsoft Visual Studio.Net development workshop.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess at least six (6) months of experience, within the last three (3) years, in one or more of the following technologies: Oracle Database; Teradata Database (or equivalent information system).

  • Disseminates best development practices, maintains and feeds a site of interest for developers.
  • Analyzes, investigates, and resolves complex problems, incidents, and alerts affecting the organic or technical environment.
  • Provides proactive organic and technical support.
  • Periodically performs quality assurance activities on code.
  • Conducts proofs of concept to validate or demonstrate the feasibility of complex organic solutions.
  • Approves requests related to security, magnetic space, and other essential aspects for environment compliance.
  • Ensures technological watch, support, monitoring, and training for various technologies (Microsoft .NET, TFS, BizTalk, Oracle, development standards, etc.).
  • Acts as a specialist in development tools, organic standards, security models, and development standards used at the Régie.
  • Suggests the acquisition of technological products and actively participates in their evaluation.
  • Performs any other activity required within the scope of the project.
