About The Position

The BI Analyst will provide best-in-class strategic insights and analytics to help drive crucial business decisions. Evolving in a highly flexible and dynamic environment, your role will mainly consist of being involved in the team building the foundations of Keurig Dr Pepper Canada’s new data infrastructure, ensuring its integrity and quality while providing timely distribution of the reporting suite. The individual will report to Senior Manager, Category and Business Intelligence. The business intelligence department at Beverage Company Canada is responsible of building and maintaining the multiple commercial data sources (including a data warehouse but not limited too) and is in charge of providing analytic services for the entire organization to enable quick and efficient decision-making process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or the equivalent, with 2- 4 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of best-in-class business intelligence tools is required, including Databricks ( preferred) Snowflake knowledge (beneficial) , Power Bi, (Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server) but not limited to these visualization tools, or any similar ETL, data warehousing and visualization tools;
  • Front End Design and Development skills UX/UI using above mentioned visualization tools
  • Exhibit proven interpersonal, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills;
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written), both in French and English;
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information and develop into concise PowerPoints for business consumption;
  • Detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of programming language, such as SQL, Python and R is an added assets
  • Knowledge of Nielsen, including MarketTrack and Homescan is considered as a strong asset;
  • Knowledge of SAP, SAP Business Objects, SAP Bex Analyzer, SAP HANA would be considered as beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Extract, cleanse and modify raw data from various data sources to allow for accurate data in the visualisations ;
  • Develop metrics and measures for quality control on an on-going basis through data visualizations and manipulation tools;
  • Prepare the data in a manner that can be used by the business on a regular basis to derive insights and trends
  • Collaborate, communicate and partner with the back-end data specialist to align on process and rule efficiencies.
  • Ensure reporting suite gets accurately updated, review business rules and support the teams with data connectivity;
  • Manage the testing and work on bug fixing or data improvements as needed, with collaboration and feedback to respective BI team members
  • Work with stakeholders to gather data requirements and build new self-serve solutions including reports and data visualizations.
  • Work with key cross functional stakeholders ( inclusive of but not limited too Finance, RGM, Sales) to align on new asks as well as enhance existing builds
