About The Position

TEHORA is currently looking for a geomatics analyst with solid experience in their field of expertise to contribute to structuring technological projects for public and private organizations. The selected person will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing geospatial data (GIS) using tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, or FME; designing and maintaining spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial); developing thematic maps and interactive dashboards (ArcGIS Online, Power BI, etc.); automating geospatial data processing (Python scripts, ModelBuilder); collaborating with business teams to meet their spatial analysis needs; participating in the integration of geomatics data with other systems (e.g., SAP, asset management systems); documenting methodologies and analysis results; and training internal users on geomatics tools and best practices.

Requirements

  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in geomatics, geography, computer science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in geospatial analysis, including 1 year with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and results-oriented
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent command of French, both oral and written
  • Good understanding of modern architectures, hybrid environments, and technological integration challenges
  • Experience in defining target architectures, recommending solutions, and comparative analysis of technological options
  • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS)
  • Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial)
  • Experience in developing scripts (Python, SQL) for automation
  • Understanding of open standards (WMS, WFS, GeoJSON)

  • Esri Certified certification (ArcGIS), or equivalent
