About The Position

Title Clearing & Escrow, LLC (TC&E) is a national title and escrow provider specializing in institutional real estate transactions. Requirements

High school diploma or GED Required
1+ years’ experience in title research, title examination or a related field
Ability to interpret title commitments across various jurisdictions
Knowledge of the title curative process for resolving outstanding title issues
Familiarity with title documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, assignments, powers of attorney and affidavits
Basic understanding of foreclosure processes, including short sales, deeds in lieu and judicial and non-judicial foreclosures
Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with high accuracy
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Good judgement with the ability to evaluate and make decisions
Strong time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Customer service/ client orientation with strong execution skills and results orientation

Responsibilities

Performing thorough examinations of land records, assessment records and tax certificates to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the title products.
Identifying and assisting in the resolution of title deficiencies to support the issuance of title commitments that meet marketability standards.
Preparing documents, inputting data and closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve title issues promptly.
Actively communicating with closers and clients to address outstanding title items, ensuring timely and compliant transactions.
