Title Clearing & Escrow, LLC (TC&E) is a national title and escrow provider specializing in institutional real estate transactions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • 1+ years’ experience in title research, title examination or a related field
  • Ability to interpret title commitments across various jurisdictions
  • Knowledge of the title curative process for resolving outstanding title issues
  • Familiarity with title documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, assignments, powers of attorney and affidavits
  • Basic understanding of foreclosure processes, including short sales, deeds in lieu and judicial and non-judicial foreclosures
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with high accuracy
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Good judgement with the ability to evaluate and make decisions
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Performing thorough examinations of land records, assessment records and tax certificates to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the title products.
  • Identifying and assisting in the resolution of title deficiencies to support the issuance of title commitments that meet marketability standards.
  • Preparing documents, inputting data and closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve title issues promptly.
  • Actively communicating with closers and clients to address outstanding title items, ensuring timely and compliant transactions.
