About The Position

PJT Camberview seeks a highly motivated Analyst to join our advisory team. The Analyst will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of PJT Partners’ shareholder advisory business with a focus on the Governance business vertical. The Analyst will be responsible for executing client engagements, including working within assigned client teams on content spanning Shareholder Advisory business verticals, assisting in the preparation of high-impact management/investor presentations, press releases, scripts, and other deliverables. They will also support client teams in advising senior executives and directors on strategic and investor topics, evaluating board and governance practices, disclosures, and messaging, and providing advice on mitigating vulnerabilities. Additionally, the Analyst will support business development efforts by identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities and developing preparation materials for pitch meetings. The role also involves contributing to the firm’s intellectual leadership by researching, analyzing, and developing materials relating to institutional investors and market developments, and supporting the development of analytical frameworks and research materials.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively within assigned client teams on content that spans Shareholder Advisory business verticals to support client mandates
  • Assist in preparing high-impact management/investor presentations, press releases, scripts and other deliverables relating to a range of investor matters—including both fundamental and governance issues
  • Support client team in delivering advice to senior executives and directors regarding a range of strategic and investor topics including how to earn investor and proxy advisor support for unique/challenging shareholder votes, executive compensation, leadership succession and transition across board and c-suite roles
  • Evaluate client board and governance practices, disclosures and messaging, in the context of evolving investor priorities and provide advice on how to proactively mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Support the senior team’s efforts to identify and prioritize new business opportunities
  • Develop effective preparation materials for pitch meetings
  • Research, analyze and develop materials relating to institutional investors and market developments for use with clients, prospects, and other market participants
  • Contribute to the firm’s intellectual leadership by supporting the development of analytical frameworks and other research materials with broad applicability
