About The Position

ORIX Growth Capital, ORIX USA’s growth lending division, is seeking a full-time Analyst to join its investment team. The Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals to evaluate prospective opportunities, conduct due diligence, underwrite and structure investments, prepare approval materials, and support portfolio management. The position is hybrid and the candidate will have the flexibility to choose between our offices in (i) New York, NY, and (ii) Seattle, WA. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited top-tier university with a degree in finance, economics, or related field with a 3.5 minimum GPA.
Strong desire and ability to learn.
0 – 2 years of experience in technology-centric venture capital, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related fields with relevant internships.
Hands-on experience creating financial models and supporting all phases of financial planning, including forecasting, reporting, and analytics is required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong business judgment and decision-making abilities.
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior investing, lending, credit, or investment banking experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Screen and evaluate prospective investments across targeted industries.
Conduct financial, commercial, and operational due diligence, including validating company-provided information.
Assess market dynamics through industry research and discussions with management teams, customers, channel partners, and industry participants.
Analyze historical and projected financial performance, operating metrics, and key performance indicators.
Build financial models and clearly communicate key assumptions, sensitivities, risks, and conclusions.
Develop investment theses and present recommendations to senior management.
Prepare term sheets, credit applications, investment committee materials, and related approval documentation.
Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, quarterly reporting, and company- and portfolio-level performance analysis.
Collaborate effectively with team members, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Support business development, market outreach, and other team initiatives as needed.
