About The Position

Evercore seeks to hire an Analyst for its Restructuring & Debt Advisory Team in New York City. The small transaction team structure creates a strong platform for Analysts to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. As part of the team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments including: in-court and out-of-court restructurings and recapitalizations, exchanges, tenders, and other liability management transactions, distressed M&A transactions and non-syndicated capital raising. This position comes with challenging work and a demanding environment in a rapidly growing firm.

Requirements

• Undergraduate – Rising Senior (Class of 2027)
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral
• Strong interest in special situations / distressed / restructuring transactions
• Strong work ethic
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented character
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
