About The Position
Citi is looking for Full-Time Analysts to join the Citi Markets team in New York. As part of Markets, your work can make an immediate impact. Our Markets Analyst Program is unlike any other on Wall Street. It is a highly competitive and selective program that gives you the opportunity to participate in the execution of strategies across primary and secondary disciplines, including the research, trading, and marketing of securities, along with structuring financing solutions across multiple asset classes for our client base.
Requirements
- Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
- Maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above
- Proficient in programming languages (VAB, Python) and Microsoft office, especially Excel
- Foundational understanding of financial markets and their responsiveness to global trends.
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of various asset classes and possess an awareness of current market trends and headlines.
- Ability to independently conduct in-depth research to enhance understanding of global markets.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, risk assessments, and data reports, articulating key themes and trends effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a strong attention to detail and exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Intellectually curious and proactively seek out new and creative ideas
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a strong commitment to personal growth and career development, including mobility and flexibility
- Unwavering commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making
- Fluent in written and spoken English

Responsibilities
- Transact in a wide variety of investment products (including equities, corporate bonds, government bonds, securitized products, and commodities) and build relationships with institutional investors across the globe.
- Provide innovative financing/lending solutions to institutional sponsors on a wide variety of asset types (including residential mortgages, commercial real estate and mortgages, auto loans, credit card loans, and corporate loans).
- Structure and execute complex securitization transactions (including Mortgage-Backed Securities, Asset-Backed Securities, and Collateralized Loan Obligations), building relationships with institutional investors and sponsors across the globe.
- Conduct research and publish in-depth reports on industry trends and investment opportunities, influencing both Citi and a large audience of institutional investors.
- Network with senior professionals who will serve as mentors throughout the program, learn about their product areas, and ultimately become a full-time member of one of their teams.
- Perform a variety of functions on an assigned desk once required licensing examinations are fulfilled.
